School Days

Even though I haven't been a student in 11 years, I still want to buy school supplies in September. There's something about the smell of the scribblers and pencils that fills me with hope- like anything is possible, everything is new and nerves lie in a little bundle in your tummy. It's like we have a chance to start over. I think that a lot of people still equate September with the beginning of a new year, perhaps even moreso than January (the dead of winter doesn't strike me as a time of great hope). I was thinking last night about new things - new experiences and adventures and new challenges too. So what am I going to do this fall?
1. I've signed up for another round of bootcamp in an attempt to create a "new" body.
2. I'm going to go to more plays. I want to go at least once a month
3. I'm going to start riding my bike more (helps with #1 too)
4. Paint my living room. It needs a facelift in the worst way
5. Live more outside of my job. I'm still figuring out what exactly this means, but I'm clinging to it with hopes that it will become evident with time.
What are you going to do this fall? What does your reinvention look like?
