6 months from now

Have you heard of http://www.futureme.org/?
It's a website you can visit and write letters to yourself. You choose what date you want the letter to be sent and then it appears in your mailbox.
I went on the site and did a few about 6 months ago.
I just received the first one yesterday.
Very interesting stuff. It's a way of checking in to see what's changed - have your dreams and goals changed or is everything the same?

Dear FutureMe,

So. It's six months from now. Where are you at? How much money have you saved? Are you still working out? How many rounds of bootcamp did you do?

It's March. Are you closer to buying a house? Are you going to Paris or did you cave and plan for Mexico again? Are you still blogging?  Have you talked to Kirsten? Written to Kathleen? Painted the living room? These are all things you want to do. How was the winter? Is it still winter?
Have you fixed all of these things yet?

So here's "where I'm at":

1. Saved lots of money
2. Still working out and did 7 rounds of bootcamp
3. Bought a house
4. Decided to not go on vacation to assist with 1 and 3
5. Talked to Kirsten (a friend I hadn't talked to in ages.)
6. Haven't written to Kathleen - not for any particular reason - just haven't gotten around to it, which is a lame excuse, which is why I put it in there.
7. Didn't do it because of 3
8. Some days it's still winter and some days are like spring.

I haven't fixed everything but I love seeing that some of them can be crossed off the list.

I can't wait to get the next one. I have no recollection what it said!
