Do you ever feel like you're sleepwalking?
That's how I've felt for the past few weeks.
You'd think the house purchase would have lit a fire under my butt - but no.
I've been overeating - I feel like I need to detox all of the carbs and sugar out of my body.
I have been staying up later than usual - watching bad tv
I haven't been working out as much as usual. - which makes it even harder to haul my ass off the couch
I'm considering doing a version of the South Beach diet for the next two weeks - while I've found that I can't maintain the diet for extended lengths of time, I do find that it does the trick at kicking my addiction to sugar and bad carbs. I did South Beach a few years ago and lost 30lbs (which I've put back on, yes) but I did feel deprived a lot of the time. I got used to it, but got really sick of peppers and hummus.
But right now - a diet of vegetables, protein and fruit sounds pretty darn good.
And hey - maybe I'll even drop a few pounds.
