Vacation Expectation

I"m on vacation next week so my plans are few but all home oriented (of course).

I hope to wash all of the windows and clean the sills (dirty dirty dirty!)

Clean the floors.

Weed weed and then weed some more. (I did a bunch already and put down a whole bunch of mulch and newspaper to try to kill the reams of weeds that exist under our apple trees) (I will post pictures soon!)

Paint the railing on the front step - I've started this project already. Will post pics later.

I'm a little distracted right now.

The sky is a crazy shade of grey and lightning keeps snapping through the sky. 

Hard to focus

(it's also hard to see because I turned the light down so I could see the lightning and now I can't see the keyboard very well to type....

We had torrential rain earlier.

I love summer storms.
