I thought it was supposed to be warmer today.
I was wrong.
It's very chilly but we went for a good tromp this morning down to our old neighbourhood
and went to this little gem for breakfast:
We walked along St. Clair West, getting a different feel for the area. It's changed a lot over the past two years.
It's cleaning itself up and we're toying with the idea of a business in the area.
It would be a great time to get in there - there are a few empty spaces which might make it more affordable but there's a lot of pedestrian traffic, ttc traffic and parking in the area.
A couple of small issues;
We don't know anything about starting or running a business
We don't have any money to start a business
Good things?
It's something we're both very, very passionate about and have lots of great ideas on how we might make it fly.
But it's very scary to me.
(I fear change. Have I mentioned that?)
It's exciting, though.
Other weekend activities include this:
(I tried to resist buying it but I gave in. I just couldn't wait for the paperback because the damned CBC kept interviewing him and he (obviously) knows how to sell it!)
I intend to curl up and delve in.
At least winter gives us an excuse to hibernate and read!
Happy Weekend!
