The Road by Cormac McCarthy

I can't explain it

but I like

books, movies,stories

that are about a

post apocolyptic society.

I really don't know why

because they can be totally depressing

but my fascination with them

never fades.

So I picked up

The Road

by Cormac McCarthy

I've never read any of his books

but I've heard he's a fantastic writer

and so far, so good.

 It is a little depressing

but lately I haven't been able to read anything that has really stood out as special.

I gave up on Sag Harbour - I just felt nothing for the characters

and I couldn't bring myself to keep going.

A friend recently recommended

Drood

 so it may be next on my list.
