i have had sore feet for three weeks.
i finally went to the doctor and she said that i have plantar faciitis.
i need to buy sensible shoes and roll my arches over a can to stretch out the muscles or tendons or whatever the heck is in there that's causing me agony.
she said it's from having flat feet and that I can't wear flat shoes
i'm 5"10. I don't always want to breach 6 ft so often opt for flats.
(I know, i know - boo hoo from the vertically challenged out there. but i wear size 11 shoes and have a wretched time finding shoes that don't make my feet look like diving boards. Am i ostracizing myself yet again with these comments?)
at least she had the grace to not tell me it was because i'm getting old and i'm overweight
but really - she didn't have to say it because that's how i feel.
sheesh. nothing to take the sexy out of you like bad feet.
thank god birkenstocks are in style this year.
