I love cardinals and so want to lure them to my garden but haven't had any luck so far.

Having a lot to say but no time to say it.

That's kind of how I feel these days.

Oh and I have to mention that I spent two and a half hours at a civility workshop this morning and...gasp..learned some things. About myself and others!

(I chose that route over my usual cynical one and I feel like I made the right choice...)

Sigh.

I am counting down until the Christmas holidays where the university closes for almost two weeks!

Howl

this week has been nutty.

truly.

I feel like I've been running hither and fro and getting nowhere (that's not entirely true - I went to the chiropractor and he fixed my wonky back and I bought a sparkly (I mean, REALLY sparkly) sweater at Joe Fresh, had choir rehearsal and drinks and dinner with a new friend from out of town.)
Oh and I've started decorating the house but still have lots to do....

I had a stroke of genius too - I found a perfect silhouette to put in my window(more on that later!)

I'm also hitting Canadian Tire after work for some bat lights and a strobe light that plays scary sounds...

I just hope I don't run out of time! We're having friends over tomorrow to carve pumpkins and I have so much to do!
