Where the Boys Were

Since they are an important part of my life,
I thought I should include some of the antics of Chester and Fergus in 2013.
As you will see, it mostly involved sleeping and sitting in boxes
but they are cats and that's what they do.
At least they were cute while at it.

Chester in repose.

I don't actually set a place for Fergus at the table but he's hopeful that I will start.

Once in awhile they sleep together

This reminds me of that Bangles song from the 80's - Walk Like An Egyptian
Remember?

Fergus in foliage.

Any box is better than no box.

So there you have it.
A small sampling of the day to day antics of Chester and Fergus -
the loves of our life.

The Year in Review

There were some great things about 2009. There were some not great things too but I'm choosing to not focus on those.
I've only had this blog since July but here are some photos that show some of the things I loved about the year.
My fella gave me a camera that is waterproof so I could take pictures underwater. She and I are still getting to know each other, but we've become close friends.

Wonderful trip to Manzanillo, Mexico where I got to try out my Christmas present!

My violets bloomed like never before....

It was a beautiful fall with amazing colours.

Sunrises that made getting up at six a.m. totally worth it.

Moody dusks that made the early darkening evenings ok too...

My baby had a bit of a health scare but the doctor called on New Year's eve to say that he's fine.
It was a good way to end the old year and start the new.

The year had it's ups and downs - no doubt. But I look forward to the challenges of the new - hopefully a purchase of a new home and subsequent move, lots of photos and family gatherings and lots and lots of adventures!
(and maybe a second blog. That could be the biggest adventure of them all!)
